How'd it take me so damn long to get one of these? Well, people get busy I guess. Too busy working to keep up with their own industry as it moves along at warp speeds, leaving all the busy people behind. Stop paying attention to what's going on out there, and before you know it, your once edgy technology skills will be obsolete.

It is perhaps the single most important reason why I take time off from paid gigs from time to time. And I always realize the same thing: I should have been spending a little time each day to keep up with the Web.
